GENERAL INFO

The Ferry Building Marketplace is located along the Embarcadero at the foot of Market Street. It is the center of a transit hub that connects all of San Francisco’s neighborhoods and the surrounding bay area communities. The Ferry Building Marketplace is accessible by MUNI, BART, and ferry. The historic trolley cars (F Line Market) stop directly in front of the Ferry Building.

 

The Ferry Building Marketplace is closed Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Years Day. For more information about how to get here, visit the parking and transportation page or read our FAQs.

Monday-Friday 10am – 7pm

Saturday 8am – 6pm

Sunday 11am – 5pm

SORRY, NO DOGS ALLOWED. IT’S THE LAW.

Under the provisions of the California Health and Safety Code, it is stated that “customers shall not bring any live animals into any food facility”. We ask you to respectfully comply by not bringing your dog or other pets to the Ferry Building Marketplace or the Farmers Market located outside on the Ferry Building Plaza. Exceptions: Guide Dog for the Blind / Signal Dog for the Deaf / Service Dog for the Disabled or Handicapped.

FERRY BUILDING WALKING TOURS

San Francisco City Guides is currently offering regular walking tours of the Ferry Building on Saturdays and Tuesdays. Tours are free and coincide with the Ferry Plaza Farmers Market.
